Students investigate the nutritional needs of a young athlete before, during and after exercise to design and produce a delicious and nutritious snack fit for an athlete. Students select ingredients from a given list and develop criteria to assess design processes and solutions. They reflect on the success of their design and production and identify strategies for future improvement.
