This unit examines nutrients with negative health effects (salt, saturated fats, and sugar), their impact on our health and how to consider them when choosing foods and drinks. Students will develop criteria for selecting healthy foods and drinks, practice reading food labels and work in groups to evaluate if foods are a wise buy.
